Wanye Rooney has taken up Cycling, to aid his world cup Hopes, Wayne who broke his 5th metatarsal bone in his right foot on April 29th 2006, has had the whole nation on tender hooks, as the World Cup edge's closer
Doctors at Manchester have expressed their views on Rooney's injury and have said that for the moment everything is looking good, Wayne goes for another scan on his right foot this weekend, This will probably be the last chance the doctors will get to examine Wayne, with the World Cup finals starting in less than 3 weeks, Rooney was out Cycling yesterday around Manchester United's training ground with Another Injury Victim, Alan Smith, who not only dislocated his ankle but also broke his right leg, in a game against Liverpool in Feburary
The whole Nation is waiting on news of the scan and Rooney himself is playing the waiting game, with news that Michael Owen is now 100% fit, it's lifted England's spirits a little, but everyone is asking the question, will our 20 year old Legend be ready to play in the World Cup?, thats the million pound question, hopefully this test will give Wayne to go ahead to fly out to Germany, but as they say, Only time will tell.....
My dad passed Wayne and Alan Cycling, when he took a load of stone to Man Utd's training ground to build a new road there :D
